Welcome in Stadninie Koni Tarnawka

The first herd of Arabian horses was established by King Zygmunt August in Poland in the middle of XVI century. The Oriental Horse was used by the Poles for refining the native breeds. It was impressive by his beauty and bravery. At the end of XVIII century a numerous studs of Oriental Horses, which were bred by magnates, came into being in the East. The biggest and the most famous were: Sanguszka stud in Sławuta and the Branicki stud in Biala Cerkiew. One of the most impressive studs was established by Dzieduszycki in Jarczowce in Malopolska.
